the design process behind the flyer for ballet tone in london.

ballet tone didn't have a logo or branding of any kind.

3 design concepts designed with the concept given:

  • 1st concept is taking a playful approach to the layout and asymmetry. this derives from the body moving and shifting, creating new shapes and forms.

  • 2nd concept is taking a more organic approach with softer shapes enhanced by hand drawn illustrations, sketches, that create the silhouette of a dancer.

  • 3rd design is clean and clear and focusing, giving more attention to the words. a subtle diamond shaped pattern shimmers through in the background.
